Kiki's Big Dream Experiment - Launch Week

Introduction

Hey Dreamer!

By now I hope you know a little about Kiki’s Big Dream Experiment. Today is Day 5 - the final day of my launch week. I have been posting across my various social channels to introduce the experiment in different ways. This blog post is pulling all of that together!

Kiki’s Big Dream Experiment is my venturing into the world with newfound skills, experiences, and outlook on life. I plan for this to take place over 90 days. This is made up of:

  1. 5 days for the launch

  2. 12 full weeks of experimentation

  3. 1 day of reflection and closure

My launch began on October 1st. And you know what? On Thursday, 2nd October, someone asked me if my launch went well - all I could think to say was, "it went". I had not even consciously decided to launch over 5 days, but subconsciously I had.

How do you measure whether an initiative launch goes well? It feels like there's supposed to be a big change - but honestly, it feels a little anti-climactic in that regard.

But that's the beauty! When you do something right, people won't be sure you've done anything at all. Well, I feel that about myself, and Kiki’s Big Dream Experiment.

Kiki's Big Dream Experiment is ongoing, and one of my first realisations is that launching it is just my way of bringing this vision to life in a way that is right for the present moment.

So I guess you could say that the launch went well - but if I'm being honest, I will only be able to fully look back on it once next week begins. As much as my reflection today attempts to summarise my week, I can't help but recognise that this post IS part of my launch too. So I can't fully reflect on the launch until this blog post is complete.

And perhaps that's the trick.

I hold on - continuing with my launch plan - until Week 1 starts, and then I can really assess how the launch went.

So what I'll say is - it's going well!

Preparing for Kiki’s Big Dream Experiment

There are so many dreams and visions I have for this project. It is really difficult to pinpoint some of them beyond just recognising a feeling pulling me forward; to take a chance on something new and fantastic that I feel deep inside my heart is the right thing for me to do presently.

The past four months have been incredible - in ways I can’t really describe yet. I’ve attempted to do so in my TikTok videos, but that only captures one side of the icosahedron (20-sided solid shape) that is my brain.

I wanted to bring something real to the world. Something that tells my story in real time. Something that offers a deeper insight to my experience that a single medium cannot possibly do. I hope that across nine platforms, I can manage to show enough of myself to really understand which avenues of creativity suit me best.

The month of September is difficult to summarise succinctly. I spent so much of the early weeks thinking how I’m halfway though this six-month window I gave myself for exploration - June to November 2025. The fears, worries, and anxieties that felt so far away were creeping up on me as November 30th loomed ever closer.

Something clicked, and Kiki’s Big Dream Experiment just seemed to appear out of nowhere. Like that hidden background image in a newly completed puzzle as you place the final piece in it’s rightful location. I had been experimenting on my own for 3 months - I always planned to bring my discoveries to the world - so why not take 3 more months to connect with others who also want to follow their dreams?

So - I went somewhat cold online. I had challenged myself to post 21 times over 3 weeks on Substack - which I did. My aim was to try a different style of content everyday. Some pieces were based on rituals I was already doing, and others were new ideas that felt lucrative. Over those 3weeks, I realised that this test was a baby version of Kiki’s Big Dream Experiment. So, I spent 2 weeks putting together a structure - a container - to run this experiment through. A container that would have me creating 9 new pieces of content every week. Each piece is an offering to the world which I hope would act as a beacon to those who want to join me in chasing dreams, and manifesting a life of happiness. I want to help others reach their potential - because I don’t believe in keeping secrets that can benefit others. I’ve spent time struggling through life - why should I let you have to do the same when I can offer a helping hand?

On Tuesday, 30th September, I sat down with my tarot deck and performed a Celtic Cross spread for Kiki’s Big Dream Experiment. This was my first time using this spread, but I wanted to try something to ground myself for my launch week. I asked the cards, “What can I expect from Kiki’s Big Dream Experiment?” while keeping my original intentions for Kiki Dreams Big in mind - the intention I posted on my website homepage in April 2025:

Welcome to Kiki Dreams Big!

This is where I share my personal journey towards discovering and living my dream life.

I share my passions, explore self-discovery, and document my progress along the way.

I hope you’ll join me as I work towards creating a life full of purpose, intention, and happiness.

The Celtic Cross Spread for Kiki’s Big Dream Experiment

A Celtic Cross tarot spread using The Wild Unknown Tarot. Central cards show reflection and choice, with themes of intuition, clarity, transformation, and fulfillment—depicting a journey of self-discovery leading to stability and abundance.

Celtic Cross Spread for Kiki’s Big Dream Experiment

The Celtic Cross spread is a favoured spread amongst tarot readers because it is widely comprehensive. I am continually returning to the cards I pulled (as is best with tarot readings, so you can understand it more and more each time). Here is the spread, with a little interpretation:

  1. Heart of the Matter – Four of Swords (Stillness, Mental Power):
The project is a moment of reflection and quiet preparation. While it is a creative surge in one way, it is just a drop in the pond for me. This experiment lays the groundwork for my future.

  2. Opposing Factors – Two of Swords (Blocked Vision, Stalemate):
This card indicates a clash of energies. There are two options for my progress - go all in on Kiki’s Big Dream Experiment, or hold off and do… something else.

  3. Root Cause - Son of Cups (Artistic, Introspective):
The experiment is born from emotional depth and creative authenticity - the depths of my person. My artistic sensitivity fuels it.

  4. Past – Son of Wands (Charming, Adventurous):
In the past, I showed enthusiasm and bold experimentation - very true in my career, and even truer throughout June to September 2025. My drive to explore many ideas built momentum, but perfectionism held me back from bringing it to the world until now.

  5. Goal – The Star (Hope, Peace of Mind):
The experiment’s purpose is to restore faith and inspiration. Faith in my own abilities, and inspiration for others who want to join this journey. It’s about embodying hope, clarity, and creative renewal after uncertainty.

  6. Future – Judgement (Forgiveness, Awakening):
The future is mine to create, so long as I forgive my past self for those decisions that held me back - because I know it was all in service of finding safety in this world. This is a phase of rebirth and realization.

  7. You – The High Priestess (Mystery, Psychic Wisdom):
I’m leading with intuition rather than over-planning. Silence, patience, and inner listening reveal the right timing and shape of what’s next. I don’t know what this experiment will lead to me producing, but I know that the structure I’ve built to contain it will allow me to create incredible things!

  8. External Influences – Mother of Swords (Sharp, Perceptive):
Supportive voices and feedback will help refine my message. I struggle with messaging because I speak a different language to the world, so having support from others is a way to clean up my storytelling.

  9. Hopes and Fears – The Tower (Unexpected Upheaval):
My hope is that I create a new, amazing life - yet this requires complete destruction of my old life. You cannot build a new house on a foundation until you clear the old one away. That very change of having everything collapse is necessary for a breakthrough.

  10. Final Outcome – Six of Pentacles (Prosperity, Growth, Generosity):
The experiment leads to balanced exchange and shared abundance. Generosity with my time, energy and wisdom will attract support, collaboration, and tangible growth.

I must admit, when I read this spread, I felt a pang of something in my heart. It was as if I truly connected with the universe to hear my dreams being received. Every card felt right.

But this is the trick with tarot. It is just a tool designed to unlock a deeper knowing within you. The belief you have in the process cements that knowing in reality. It turns your thoughts into words.

Honestly - if Kiki’s Big Dream Experiment goes exactly as this spread suggests - I will receive everything I dreamed of, and more. If it goes differently, then I will be in for a fantastic surprise, because I trust that the surprises will be bigger and better than I ever could imagine!

I look forward to returning to this spread at the end of Kiki’s Big Dream Experiment and shedding light on what came to pass.

Fri · 3rd Oct:

  • Post on Instagram - Launch of Kiki's Big Dream Experiment - I shared a poem I wrote on my birthday this year (in July) as an introduction to my weekly poetry release, as one artistic expression that shares those ideas and concepts that only metaphor and imagination can capture

Sun · 5th Oct:

I plan to start sharing ideas and invitations for experiments from Week 1, and through this, building a community of dreamers - a community of people to bolster each others ideas, and help each other reach their potential. Sometime we just need a little encouragement and direction to set us on the right path!

Pinterest is a new idea I wanted to explore. I love the idea of creating mood boards, or vision boards. I am not a naturally artistic person when it comes to design or drawing, because I find it hard to get my hands to create what I see in my head. So I wanted to explore using AI-generated art to stimulate ideas. I can see amazing things in my head, but somehow trying to articulate them even with words feels impossible. Like trying to catch smoke with your bare hands. You can see it clearly but it’s impossible to contain. I want to use this avenue to help me try to connect my ideas with imagery, and over time I will replace the AI-generated art with photos, drawings, designs, graphs - whatever I can!

I also want to explore doing more live content through Twitch, TikTok, and YouTube. Follow me on these platforms to get notified of when I am hosting a live event.

  • Twitch: I will be playing Borderland 4 for the first time. I want to experience the game at the same time as my audience. I love video games, and I believe they are a fantastic creative outlet for exploring and enhancing problem solving skills.

  • TikTok: I post videos everyday, so you can see all of those - but for my main creative outlet on TikTok, I plan on hosting a live session to connect with people and help them overcome barriers that hold them back from chasing their dreams. It is an opportunity to problem solve in real time, to see how I work, and connect with me in a unique way that many other social platforms do not allow.

  • YouTube: My live will be a creative co-working space. This will be a chance for viewers to dedicate time to their dreams each week, as I work on my new ideas at the same time. It will follow an adapted Pomodoro structure, to combine bursts of productivity with breathing space and supporting chats.

Reflection on Launch Week

I was quite happy with the amount of effort and energy it cost to generate each piece of content. Though I can’t say that everything was amazing and groundbreaking like I think future weeks will be. However, it did give me an opportunity to playtest the platforms for this experiment. One takeaway I had was that I have set myself up in such a way that I can create largely just using my phone. I wanted to have this flexibility because being tied to a laptop is not always feasible. Take for instance that I was going to be on holidays for my launch week - I could defer it, but that would lead me down a road that the Two of Swords warned me against in my Celtic Cross Spread. So I went with it, and I can honestly say that I’m very happy how the 5 days went.

I want to finish each of these weekly blog posts with some takeaways from the week, and a dream for the upcoming week. I also want to share my theme for next week so you’ll know exactly what to expect!

Takeaways from Launch Week:

  1. Build the container and let the content fill it naturally: I have so much to say, and a blank page is sometimes too freeing. Having a dedicated structure to produce within is actually more freeing because it allows for depth of content. Each platform I create on gives me a different angle to explore, and the containers facilitate genuine value.

  2. Meaning comes after creation: I had ideas for what my launch would look like, and how I would feel about it. But now as I near the end of it, I realise that its impact can only be fully understood once there is some distance from it. This is an important idea to remember because it links to the philosophy of “create it first, then make it good later”.

  3. My subconscious knows more than my consciousness does: Those gut reactions, and pangs of emotion are signals from my body and my subconscious. Heeding them takes me in the right direction. I have cultivated trust and balance between mind-body-spirit in such a way that I don’t need to know what I will create when the time comes, only to trust my intuition to guide it.

  4. I love living in the unknown: When I had to decide how I was going to produce content each week, the possibilities were endless. So many what ifs. So I decided to let the randomness of drawing cards guide me, because I love how tarot forces you to connect with a random string of cards. So each week I will pull a Major Arcana card to theme my week, and guide me on a path of exploration in real time.

  5. I am more than you see: Kiki Dreams Big is my baby. I know it inside and out. What you see online about it is just a fraction of what it really means. Kiki’s Big Dream Experiment is my attempt to share the entire vision. I want you to connect with me, ask questions, share ideas, disagree with my opinions, start a conversation. I want this initiative to find its place in the world, like I am trying to. I can only do that with your help.

Introducing Week 1 of Kiki’s Big Dream Experiment

Dream for Week 1:

I wish to connect with more people.

During my launch week, I had a couple of contacts reach out and say they were interested in connecting with me for Kiki’s Big Dream Experiment. I plan on arranging catch ups with each one to explore how we can work together. I want to start arranging those as soon as possible.

I am excited to see what card I draw for Week 1, so that I can begin planning my content. I am a huge believer in not telling your story while you are in the middle of it, so I want to break it into parts through these weekly themes. Once I get to the end, I’ll have a story to share, ordered by these weekly themes - because when you think about your life, there are many different ways to tell your story. So let’s see what the cards hold!

Theme for Week 1:

While focusing on the takeaways from Launch Week, and my dream for Week 1, I shuffled my tarot deck. Once I felt ready, I stopped and drew…

12 The Hanged Man

Sacrifice, Letting go

Many people talk about the art of “letting go”. But what does it really mean? How do you achieve it?

The hanged man has all the answers; he’s the master of non-attachment.

This card implies there’s a sacrifice or a difficult or painful situation coming up in your life.

Though you naturally want to resist and struggle through it, be more like the hanged man.

Find stillness, open your eyes, and use this new perspective to learn something. You’re stuck here either way.

Well there we have it! Week 1 is going to encapsulate the theme of “Letting Go”. I would probably say this about any card I pulled - but this is a great topic to start with! Being the master of non-attachment is about embodying the certainty you can control while letting the world around you react the way it reacts. You cannot control how others see you, treat you, or think of you - so why should you let that stop you from working on your own dreams? If you’re placed in a situation that limits you, find a support to help you break down the barriers.

I’m looking forward to what this week brings!

Keep dreaming,

Kiki <3
